This policy explains how SongGifty handles personal data when you browse the site, create a song, complete a purchase, receive a delivery email, or share a public gift page.

When you use SongGifty, you may provide the recipient's name, occasion, music preferences, mood, voice preference, your story or memories, optional specific lyric inclusions, your name, your email address, and any support communications you send us.
When you purchase a song, we process payment and order information such as your checkout session details, payment status, amount paid, currency, and delivery email address. Card details are processed by Stripe and are not stored directly by SongGifty.
We may collect technical information such as IP address, browser or device information, approximate usage data, event tracking data, and error or delivery logs so we can operate, secure, support, and improve the service.
If you purchase a song, SongGifty creates a shareable gift page that may display the song title, cover image, lyrics, recipient name, sender name, and playback features. Please only share information you are comfortable making available to people who receive that link.
We use personal data to create song previews and full songs, process purchases, deliver MP3 downloads and gift pages, respond to support requests, prevent fraud or abuse, maintain service security, troubleshoot delivery or provider issues, and understand product and campaign performance.
We share data only where needed to run the service. Material providers may include Stripe for payments, Supabase for database, storage, and backend operations, Resend for transactional email, our AI music-generation provider for song creation, and Meta or Google where analytics or advertising tools are enabled.
Some providers we use may process data outside Spain or the EEA. Where that happens, we rely on the provider's contractual, technical, or organizational safeguards as applicable to support those transfers.
We keep different categories of data for different periods. Order, payment, tax, fraud-prevention, and support records may be retained for as long as needed for legal, accounting, operational, or dispute-resolution purposes. Song-input and generation data may be retained while needed to operate, support, improve, and protect the service. Public gift-page content may remain accessible until it is removed, disabled, or no longer needed for service operation.
Depending on where you are located, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability of your personal data. You may also have the right to complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Espanola de Proteccion de Datos (AEPD).
SongGifty may use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies for site operation, analytics, and advertising measurement. If enabled, these tools may include Meta Pixel and Google Analytics. They may collect browser, device, and usage information to help us understand site performance and campaign effectiveness. You can manage cookies through your browser settings and, where relevant, through provider privacy or ad-preference controls.
SongGifty is not intended for children to use on their own. Please do not submit personal data about children unless you have the right to do so and it is necessary for the gift you are creating.
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Song creation uses automated AI systems, but SongGifty does not use automated decision-making to make legal or similarly significant decisions about you.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and change the last updated date.
